Al, we want a dynoflsh on our shop car. We are looking for 600whp and similar torque numbers. We want to reach the limits of power potential with a flash. I think our car would be a great test to see how much power we can make.

Ryan - I am honored you would conisder my services for a custom flashon your shop car.

In order to realistically tune a 600 whp evo we would need to arrange a dyno shop. Speaking frm epxerience - once you go over 500 whp its very hard to feel the differnce of 20 - 30 whp on way or the other without a dyno or a race track. Also as you go over 500 whp it becomes very difficult to find suitable locations for street tuning.

As far as dynos go - I have a couple of locations in mind. This would prob entail me staying a extra day on Monday and incurring additional expenses.

If you are willing to cover the dyno time, and my flight change fees and hotel fees then I would be willing to set up some time for your car on a dyno first thing monday am. It would have to be 1st thing Monday am as I really need to get back to the east coast to finish working on my car in preparation for the dsm shootout !

Al, I am getting ready for you... :)

This weekend I installed an HKS downpipe, Random Tech Hi-Flow Cat, and Borla Exhaust (eg, Complete Aftermarket Turboback Exhaust). On Monday or Tuesday, I will be getting my Walboro 255lph and installing it before you arrive in LA. I already have the HKS RS kit on.

Of course, I got new Volk LE37T's in Gun Metal Grey but that's only to please your eye.

Bring it ON! Al, you don't know how excited I am!!! YEAH!!!

Brent

PS I plan to install the HKS EVC at a later date when funds become available (wife is getting a little nervous if you know what I mean). Perhaps we can tailor the tune accordingly and give me advice as to what PSI to set it at? I am sure we will have more to talk when I meet you in LA. I have some interesting stories...

If you want - I would suggest you consider a Hallman Pro for the tune so we can have your boost set steady. I think you will find ot works every bit as good as a HKS boost controller. If you want one pay pal me $80 and I will include shipping to you via two day so you have it installed in time. (note this is a special discount)

Thanks Al for the great offer, but I am partial to electronic gizmos...hence, the desire to get an HKS EVC in the future, along with a boost gauge, and BOV.

I would suggest you use the Hallman for now and then sell it when its time to upgrade to the HKS - just my suggestion so your car will be working 100%

Al,

My fuel pump is in and working fine. What boost should I be running for next weekend? Currently I am at 1.3 bar (~19.1 psi), but I'd like to run 1.4 bar (~20.5 psi). Please let me know.

I am looking forward to working with you again (this time on the "Best" Coast).

Chris

P.S. - Will I get a discount if my girl wears a low-cut top? (She just got her own mods if you know what I mean... )

Al, I would also like to know what boost you would like me to run next week for my Base Flash on 91 octane. I am currently running 18 PSI on my Profec B.

Hey Al,

I want to know how much of the balence I have left to pay. According to my calculations I should owe $175, right. Thats $475(custom flash price) - $300 (paypal) I already paid. Can I pay cash when I meet with you on sunday?

Thnx,
Guack

We now haved a total of 6 guys getting the FULL tune so the discount structure is $499 on the full custom tune

IF we can book another 3 guys for the FULL tuning then the price will drop to $475.00 and I have some hope that may happen as usually there are plenty os last minute callers trying to get tuned and I usually have no spots open. In this case - I have 3 spots open - one on eavch day. Just watch this thread as the week progresses.

At this point, in your case you can simply deduct the $300 payment from the $499 leaving a balance of $199 on Sunday

You are welcome to pay cash on the day of the tuning

Please note - we do NOT take personal checks on the day of the tuning

YOU CAN pay pal by Thursday if YOU prefer - thats fine - just bring a print out of your pay pal payment with you to the tuning session

The update tuning appointments are $350 per - minus what ever you paid aby depoist - in most cases $100

And the base flash is on the crazy sale of $179.99
