You should have done more research on different flashes.

In most cases - I would stick with the stock ones so you can have more of a set it and foret it mentality

I your more of a person who likes to tinker - by all means get the 8's
BUT - you have to change them a bit more often

All reflashes maintain FULL OBD-II funtionality - when you get erroneous codes its a pain in the *** - BUT - when you have a problem with you car it can save you thousands and thousands in diagnostic time

Also - many states do the emmissions testng on OBD-II cars through the data port so the reflash will get you through emissions

IF ANYONE has the Dyno Flash and is not getting the 0300 code fixed - IF you're not fully satisfied - just send it back for a FULL REFUND

The main point of the Dyno Flash is makingyou car run better and make more power

We can not guaratee that i will fix this code problem that some evos seem to have - although it does seem to get a bit better with the Dyno Flash

Hmm, Al, I thought you had this all fixed? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?p=723156

Edit: Posting what Al originally said, in case he edit's the original post (not sure if he can...).

IF you notice NONE of our clients are the ones who are complaining about this !

Second - anyone who gets the ecu reflashed by just has to send in the ecu and I will reaload the dyno flash for FREE i have all the maps saved and backed up

As the days pass, and Mitsu offers no fix for this problem, I am beginning to think the AEM EMS is the solution to my problem also....

SC~0300 is kicking my 455...

You know what's really weird. Last week I was getting the P0300 so bad, that everytime I was in a gear (between 2nd and 5th) between 3k and 4k RPM, it would misfire.

Then I decided to try new plugs, no dice. Then I was going to try to replace the tranny fluid, but instead I reset the ECU by pulling the negative. Then, it "went away"!

Have you experienced that SC?

Actually we thought we had it licked 100% as we had no reports of any 0300 codes on our customer's cars for a long time and we did not see any on our tuning runs

THEN - we started to get a few guys who still got the codes

SO - at this point ALL I can represent is that the Dyno Flash appears to resolve the problem in SOME cars - makes it BETTER in others and in some cases does nothing

Bottom line - if anyone wants to TRY IT and if it does not fix your 0300 code - send the Dyno Flash back for a 100% refund - no questions asked - HOW is that ?

Resetting the ecu does erase the cel. But it will reappear within about 150 miles.

SC~ who saw/felt the warning 3 times on his 10 mile commute this morning.

I used to get the misfire code also, but it went away and hasn't come back in more than 3000 miles. I always coded when decelarating. I did add 2-3 degrees of timing to my idle settings and since I havent coded again.
