Money sent . Wow that's a great deal I told the wife it would be more but I guess I can pocket the rest of the money or get something else added to the car or by her a mod that sparkles

I would like to reserve Saturday the 14 Aug at 2:00 p.m. (or do you set the time?)

Tuning wih the AFR is a very primatve and unsatisfactory methodology to tune a evo. The AFR or SFAC uses a percentage reducton in the MAF load reference to alter the a/f ratio. This reduction in load referene has the uniteneded effect of causing the ecu to run much more advanced ignition timing as the ecu sees less of a load. This overly advanced ignition timing usually results in detoantion which produces knock sesnor incuded ignition retadation. The problem is that the knock sesor corrected ignition timing will become very rough and uneven power band.

The reflash tunng is able to independantly adjust the a/f curve and ignition timing seperately to optimize the tuning - resulting in much more low end torque and a much smoother power delivery.

My suggestion to you is t grab this deal - the price is super low during this event as I am trying to hype the Buschur sponsored event. I couldn't really save you much money in any event just to tune your AFR - and you'll get a much better result with the flash. My suggestion is keep the AFR in the car to fine tune it in the event you add more modifiations in trhe future (who can resist)!

Al - I am trying to make arrangements to come down to the Buschur event. Couple quick questions...I am assuming that the custome tune is a road tune not on the dyno, is that correct? If so is there any real difference between the two tunes (pros and cons)?

I am also leaning towards the BR turboback (w/ hf cat) and a MBC. Should I also look to install a Walboro pump as well (i am not planning on any other mods in the future).

What kind of improvements should I expect with the above BR setup when comparing your mail-in flash to the custom tune?

Can you do a mail type flash there? I am pretty sure I am going up there for this event, and would love to just get the mail flash and not have to live without Tasha for 2 days! I am stock, so no special tuning is really required. My wife already nixed the plans for BR TB and an Al Custom Tune! till next year.

Al - Is there a difference between your Dynoflash and the Buschur Flash. I am assuming the Buschur flash is indentical to your mail-in. Is this correct?

No - there are significant differences

The main point is that we NO LONGER have a mail in flash for Buschur staged upgrades - in those cases you can only get the Buschur Flash

In this case - if you have Buschur parts you'll get the Buschur flash fine tuned to match your individual car and if you have non Buschur parts you get the Dyno Flash custom tuned

Al - In addition to the above questions... From what I read on the Buschur site they will only have a two wheel dyno available for Saturday (which is a problem for the EVO's).

FYI - I will get tuned to run on 93

I do all my tuning on the road so the dyno is not an issue !

It seems the Buschur shop is now jammed full with installs that week and can not accomidate any more jobs - call J-rod at 4400-839-1900 and check the details

If you alredy habe your parts and just need a tune - get on the list now before its all sold out ! Thanks

Al - Just chatted with Jarrod @ Buschur via email. Since their shop is already booked for Friday I was going to get their Turboback installed a week or two earlier and come back for your custome tune. When I go get the TB installed should I pay Buschur for their BuschurFlash then come back for the DSM shootout and have you custom tune it? How are you guys coordinating this? Also will I still qualify for the $399 custom tune.

My suggestion for you is to pay pal me the $100 deposit to hold a time slot for the custom tune now - - send $100.00 to paypal@dynoflash.com - and then we will arrange an adjustment of the $399.99 price to reflect your $100 payment on the day of your custom tune

Don't sweat the details - we don;t have a master plan worked out on how to do this as its a one time offer and just something I am doing for the shootout

The main points are you will pay a total fee of $399.99 and get a full custom tune free

I do suggest you get a deposit down and reserve a time quickly as I am predicting it will be sold out very soon as I only have time for a total of 12
