BR500 claims

Just curious if anyone else would know the answer to this. I'm interested in the BR500 kit. The Buschur Racing website claims that the BR500 turbo kit produced 504 whp at 25psi. What other supporting mods were used to come up with this 504 whp figure ? Also, at what rpm is max spoolup on this turbo ? How about the BR580 ? Thanks!

Yeah I just read about similar numbers on the new Turbo Magazine where Al's car is featured. The car did 502 whp at 23psi and I believe it was on race gas even though it didn't state on the article.

The car was piloted by Tym and he got a 11.3 @ 123 mph w/ 23 psi. Also from the pictures I saw it had an AEM since there was no MAS airflow sensor. The car had a full Buschur stage 4, they even show the dyno graph, I would go and pick up the magazine, good stuff. Plus Al's car is there!!!!

Cool. Just picked up the mag. Going to read it soon. I was just curious what numbers the BR500 put down on an otherwise stock engine w/ upgraded injectors. For comparisons sake, the other kit im considering, the ATP GT35/40R Turbo kit claims, as quoted and shown on their dyno graph pic "400+ WHP was quickly seen on low boost and 660cc injectors on an otherwise stock engine". Both kits are very reasonably priced. Any thoughts ?

The questions you are asking have been argued to death, I suggest checking out this thread, it will answer a lot of your questions about the BR500 and GT35/40R-

I will say one thing: Spool.

(Use dynojet graphs, there very close to give you an idea)
Look at where the BR500 makes 200whp
Look at where the ATP GT35R makes 200whp

Keep in mind the BR500 featured on the dynographs isn't even with the Ball-Bearing option which you can get.

I keep hoping that Dave will make tha announcement on the extra cool $400 ball bearing full GT turbo upgrade option with water cooling and all - shoudl spool a bit faster than the non ball bearing one which already spools great !
