"Duel stage flash"

Just want to start an other topic on this subject alone...

We are continuing to work on the so called "dual stage flash" which will have both settings in the same ecu - however that will ONLY work on bigger turbos which can hold a very steady and consistant boost level
Can you sit down and give us the details on what your working on?

Such as how far in the future this is?

Why it "...will ONLY work on bigger turbos which can hold a very steady and consistant boost level"

Etc., etc.

I have all the details sorted out and it works very well.

Right now it only applies if you meet the following conditions

1 - Large aftermarket turbo

2 - Custom tuned only

3 - Electric boost controller with warning function

...but as the unknowing child always says, "why"?

I have my assumptions as to why you must use a larger turbo, but will you explain?

IWith large turbos we can hold steady boost and load points across the power band. On the stock turbo the tune uses too many zones - peaking early and falling off up top.

With something like the BR 440 this dual stage flash works very well

I suspected, but didn't know if there wasn't more to it.

There is more to it than that of course - but we need the big turbo for that reason

We have two seperate zones and settings - one for normal boost and the other for high boost on race gas
