Mail in flash on HKS RS KIT - highly recomended

We have really been recomending the HKS RS KIT for its consistant and reliable through the mail tuning attributes. We have one heck of a tune for that intake as many of the satisfied end users can attest.

Here is a mail in customer who came in to have his car checked out on the dyno - he had already gone over 30,000 miles with the reflash

HKS RS KIT - 3" exhuast - MBC - 20.5 psi

This is so you can get an idea of how smooth the power delivery is with this mail flash - not the highest numbers we have made but it was super hot and humid test conditions

If you don't mind....what kind of torque was that car making?

I have the same reflash with the Walbro 255, Perrin test pipe, and the smaller HKS downpipe. Nice numbers Al.

If your asking about a reflash price then the mail in flash is $200 plus shipping.

In 90 % of cases the trq is the same or slightly higher than the whp

That's not a good answer. Why can't you hook up the rpm pick up to show torque? I notice that many of the dyno sheets you post don't show torque. People (myself included) want to see torque values.

Thanks.

Well - if you do a search you'll fin about a hundred that I have posted with prw and trq - in this case it was a quick test dyno so I did not hook up trq signal

It would just be nice to see both values. Even for a "quick" dyno test, it doesn't take long to hook up the rpm pick up.

Sup Al, Are you recommending the HKS Rs intake over an K & N drop-in panel filter, could there be a noticeable gain?

The two intakes posted above there are the K & N drop in on stock air box vs. the RS KIT

Most of the time we do hook it up - just lately we have been doing quite a few free rechecks to verify that the car is working properly and we strive to get them done quickly

There has been a thread showing that the RS kit makes 11-12 more hp than the K&N drop in filter.

Al thanks for the reply. That is what I was hoping for. I like to have more torque than horsepower.
