The best path in these situations is to hook up the gear and take some readings on the a/f ratio and we can take it from there. I'll be posting a schedule for the 18th to 25th next week, just pick a time slot that works for you and I'll go over the car and see if I can find any mechanical issues and then we can take some readings on the data and see what changes you would like to make. All I can tell you at this point is that the conditions and symptoms that you are relating here sound like something more serious that just re-setting the a/f ratio to a slightly leaner setting. Afterall the factory tunes these cars pig rich from 5800 to red line - (off the meter rich) and they seem to operate well - if not weak with that extreme rich a/f. We really do not hear reports like this from our customers. Also - when road testing your car the closed loop operation was spot on at 14.6 / 1 a/f just as it should. Usually when something happens to change the way a car runs it is related to mechanical issues as the flash memory which we tune with is very - VERY - stable and the only way to change those settings is with a flash writer such as we have.

Just pick your time slot when I post the sign ups next week and I will look it over and give you a free re-tune. Thanks

As for my car.. It is a heck of a lot faster now. Both noticably by feel and lower timeslips. I'll be happy to go down to Bradenton at any time and prove that again. I had a blast the last time I went.. My car feels great!
Yeah, buddy...my Evo pulls WAY harder now...it's like a whole new car!
