If you could do me a favor before I come down as you have mechanical talents check out the following items before our appointment so we can rule them out
1 - Do a compression test
2 - Make sure the plug in your rear 02 sesnor bung is loose
3 - Try to rig up a device to pressure test your tubro inlet to 20 psi and check for boost leaks. We use a small 3 " tube with a coupling on one end and a plate with a tire valve stem welded on the end. We hook up a simple tire pressure gauge on the end of the air hose. By pressurizing the system you can hear if there are any boost leaks, and see if there is a boost leak by watching the gauge. Often we have seen problems like you are having from a simple boost leak from a vac hose poping off or a intercooler coupling being loose.
What ever is causing this condition - I'll get to the bottom of it when I get there. By doing the compression test and boost pressure test before hand it will make it much easier for us to get it fixed.
Thanks
