A new E85 converted Evo
E85 is for experienced serious evo guru only. no noobs should try..... Just kidding
It is pretty easy to run E85, all you need is fuel upgrade. 1000cc and walbro pump should give you a good start and enjoy for a while.
After that, you will eventually need all the fuel and ignition upgrade like 800whp car to make more serious power with E85. Then, you are own your own.

Well I can tell you what mine is... 14.7 - 10.0 (peak load) but that is all lambda. EGT max is about 810, boost is 26psi, and basically 0 knock at this point (thanks to everyone here).
It isn't hard to get it running with 1000cc injectors and a Walbro. Takes some trial and error with Evoscan and ecuflash to get the injectors dialed in. Then pull timing, add fuel, and up the boost. Watch the knock and EGT and you are set.
I am still very new to E85 so take what I say with a grain of salt.

so to convert to e85 for the most part bigger injectors and then a walbro? Then later the ignition sytem? I still cant wait for tephra to get the e85 map switching done. btw i found a link that tells me stoich afr for e85 is 10.0:1 http://www.iit.edu/~ipro317/f01/eth.html

Yeah, I am far from an expert and haven't had much experience so far. There are plenty of people that know much more than I do. At the same time I can say from a performance perspective it has more power (very noticeable). From an engine health perspective it looks great. Low EGT, low knock, and AFR's are within spec for a gas wideband.
I went to the track for my first solo2 event today and the car did great. Great power and kept me extremely competitive in my class even with my lack of skill. Now just need better handling to compliment the power.
