You could run your car on pipe dreams and fairy dust. It's cheaper than water and better for the environment.

umm... I'd hate to burst everyone's bubble but it's impossible. Unless you believe in the theory of magnecules. The electrolysis of water always requires more energy than the combustion of H2 and O2 back into water.

Honda also have a vehicle that is running on Hydrogen. They are only selling them in CA at the moment though. But this guys idea could possibly change everything.

8th grade science my friend. as Fuwaa said it takes more energy to produce than you get from it.

Above is right on the money, nice to see that someone was listening in class.

To give an example: Water is the ash of a hydrogen and oxygen fire.

Can you burn ash?

Your car already runs on hydrogen, and carbon. It makes water, CO2, CO, and heat from gasoine. Gasoline is a hydrocarbon fuel, i.e. - hydrogen & carbon in liquid form.

True,

But like you said no gain in energy.

I have heard of a 6 cycle engine that injects water on an extra stroke to recover the heat and act like a steam engine for one stroke.

That replaces the Rad, and you get some energy from heat that would otherwise be wasted.

Would be tricky to setup and tune and you would need a water tank in the car.

But at least it isn't a fantasy, like the water fuel guys post.
