I thought it was kinda poor. I'm getting 15 mpg around town and 18-19 mpg on the road. Trying for 20 mpg on my next road trip.

hey man, we had this bit of a disagreement before lol,I think they are refering to the E85 being slower to the point where it ignites not the burn speed.

I can't believe you guys are not able to run much timing with E85, although it MAY have something to do with the ethanol content in the "E85" at your pump. Granted I have not been able to ramp up loads of timing at peak torque but I have found with the correct (what my car likes) AFR it will take just about ANY timing I can throw at it..I am running 19 degrees at 7300rpm no prob. The car makes great power with E85 countering the ultra hot air of the stock evo 8 turbo fully maxed out! 96mph in the 1/8th is great power for an overweight MR on the stock 8 turbo without running race fuel.

so whats the updates with people running E85 out there?
I have plenty of bolt ons on my evo. I don't wish to do a big turbo, so bigger injectors is all i need and a tune. but, before I do so, I'd like to have updates from you guys

All is well on the local E85 scene here in Tucson.

Just paid $1.71 gal for the equivalent of $5-6 gal race gas.

I'm with you, stock turbo (actually an IX turbo for my VIII) is plenty for me.

I've run into no issues in the six months I've been running E85 exclusively in my DD.

$1.69 a gallon up the road from you here in Vegas.

I intend on going 1600's with my new big(er) turbo setup so I can stay with ethanol. E85 is superb.

Hey Jim,
On your first post, can you replace the link in #17 with this link instead since that particular group buy is closed....
