Before and after E85 Dynojet graph

Below is a scanned copy of 2 dyno runs on different days with my car with and without E85. The only changes done was a conservative self tune for the higher octane of e85. Still more left I suppose but for now I'm basically happy. The curves are basically the same so the tune seems linear as is the power delivery of my setup. 55HP and 33 Torque is decent from e85 alone not to mention it was a little hotter the other day than previous non e85 dyno runs.

Turbo back exhaust and intake/upper pipe only along with walbro and 1000 cc injectors

Nice results!

Can you list what year car this is (as well as any mods)? Lastly, what grade pump gas were you on before the switch?

Sweet, what boost were you runniing between the pump and E85 gas? Do you have the V5 Tephra mod so you can switch fuel maps using a toggle switch?

24-24.5 on pump and 28-28.5 on E85 (currently limited by #65 pill and GM solenoind sitting in garage waiting for my lazy **** to install and tune.

Waiting on Tephra mod to be sure latest revision is stable and I need to get pins from JackofTRades. I want to wire up a switch with integrated lighting so I only need to mount one device rather than switch and led. For now it's laptop wherever I go just in case and I routinely carry over 20 gallons e85 in tank and spare.

What is interesting is I hit 280-290ish peak 2 byte load on dyno but on open road I hit 310-320 quite normally.

Anyway I'm considering intercooler or next round of mods. Cams or stright to bigger turbo decisions decisions... I could always get cams after turbo or viceversa.

Nice! How long did you spend on the dyno adjusting your fuel and timing? Where you able to run a fair amount more timing? Are you getting your E-85 for Pearson's Fuel?

I am going to get tuned on E-85 here shortly. Going to run 30psi.

The 12.5 is due to the wideband being calibrrated for gasoline, not E85. The lower line is for the gasoline pull. To get the appropriate E85 numbers, you would convert it over...

Nice results. Bet it feels good vs. the 91!

Maps were prebuilt before dyno 1st run was one map and seconf and third runs were on a different map. First run was best. short answer is no time was spent adjusting on dyno only map changes.

Pearson supplies fuel to a Shell station in Carlsbad i believe it is called Bressi Ranch Shell. I get my E85 there. You can get address from e85 station locator websites or from Shell website.

Good Luck man

How easy was the self tune to change to E85?

There is the problem of not too many E85 stations on top of ignorance of people thinking that E85 is bad for the economy .(i.e. they think is better to make the arab rich richer vs US farmers less poor).

I plan to switch as soon as I get another station close to me.

Good job on your car, it has to be really fast.

You do know you can get it on El Cajon Blvd right next to Pearson Ford, right?

The tune was easy in that i simply adjusted injector global scaling based on what i read and fine tuned for my car from there. After injector scaling to add more fuel I started slowly adding timing (not done) and cranking up boost while monitoring for knock. I still have lots of room for more boost and timing but I am playing it safe.
