E85 = +60whp / +55wtq peak

Did another E85 tune the other day. Great gains on this one.

+60whp / +55wtq peak going from 91 octane to E85

An interesting trend I am seeing with E85 over the last couple of cars I have tuned with it. Pretty much every single one I put E85 in, rescale the injectors and do a first run with the same tune as on pump gas just to make sure everything is ok. They always gain approx 20-30wtq with the only change being putting E85 in and rescaling the injectors. Same tune as on pump!

This fuel just rocks. I love it.

Great results! Just got mine done this weekend and I can also confirm the 20hp gain just by changing fuel. Unfortunately my car was picking up phantom knock from a bad power steering pump so the car was taking away all timing. My other problem was that the forge boost controller would only let me get 25psi. All that aside I still made 390 hp/tq with no timing and "low" boost. Sorry to get off topic but my tuner wasn't able to adjust the cold start due to my car being hot when I got there. When I attempted to start my car this afternoon, it took several tries and when it did start I had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. I have Ecuflash- what do I need to change?

Is this E85 from a regular pump or a racing fuels blend? If it's pump, our pump E85 around here is branded Verasun. Same stuff?

man I didn't expect that without a change in timing. My car would be SLOW without E85 so I thank the USA for that
