While a good idea, i think i'm with the majority in saying its just too damn expensive. If we would get the whole setup for 200-300 i would be in for sure.

Just remember - the cost difference between Q16 and E85 is about $8 per gallon. If you run 50 gallons of race gas in one year - that would just about pay for the whole Ethanol Sensor setup including GM flex fuel sensor. . .

This may be true, but i would never run Q16 anyway. I'm looking for a road race/ street tune, i wouldn't want to burn through 20 gal of Q16 in a day, haha.

We have sourced the flex fuel sensor at a discount lower than GM wholesale pricing.

PM for info.

We offer now the flex fuel sensor connector with 8 ft wiring harness. Wire colors are same as the ECA for easy and trouble free installation.

Highly interested in this as I am hovering around wanting to run E85 (I have a BP by my house that carries it). Sensor is the only part that is holding me off....TTP you will have mail in a few.

MrFred, stop teasing us! What do we have to do to convince you to finish working on the patch 6 months after posting that you would be working on it?

I didn't do any work on the car over the winter, so that held things up. Just waiting now for tephra to release his 88590015 v7 patch. This ROM will serve as the basis for my flex fuel patch.
