Is anybody running these in an Evo? If so what brand are you running and how do you like them? Also what engine management are you using (AEM or stock ECU)? I was wondering if you can realistically run a 1600 cc injector on the stock ecu and E85 or if this is unrealistic.

Doing a search on 1600cc injectors shows very little other than a thread about John Shepards evo. Any info on these "Bosch" style injectors in terms of reliability, idle, and tuning would be helpful.

 

This is just a guess, but I'd imagine 1600cc injectors on E85 would be about the same as 1000cc injectors on pump. It should be reasonable to do this on E85, but you won't have the option of switching back to pump.

I use Precisions. You wont have much luck with these on a stock ECU, the car will idle like hell. You should be OK in higher RPMs though. If you need monster 1600s, you must be at fairly high boost levels, and maybe you should look into an AEM.

 

1600=standalone for great drivability

 

RRE just tuned 2 cars recently on 1600cc RC injectors and both cars were running AEM EMS....
