EMS with AMS 1600cc injectors
this is a datalog with 1600cc injectors on a 2005 EVO with only modification being a full exhaust. Tale a good look @ the duty cycle vs. engine speed vs. engine load(Boost).
I actually borrowed the injectors from my Galant VR-4 which I am building as a full drag car. For a daily driver, 1000cc should be more that sufficient. I just didn't feel like spending the extra cash at the moment. My car idles at 850rpm's @ an a/f of 12.5-13.5 and if you want to laugh the duty cycle @ idle is 0.40% to 0.50%
I have precision 1600s in my car right now and it will work with the ems and you don't have to buy their seperate injector driver either. I have it on mine but Dave B. said it doesn't make much if any difference to warrent spending $300. I found that out after I had it on the car already. Driveability is not as good as smaller injectors but not unbearable, and mpg will be down in the city, but I can get around 20 mpg on the highway if I stay out of the boost.

hmmm cool
awsome so the ems will be fine with 1600cc injectors. For the curious I am running a 2.3 stroker HKS 280's AMS 37rkit, ams meth and some other stuff. Do you guys think 1600s are to big????

Depends on your pockets man? 1200cc would be enough for that turbo, but 4 RC 1200 injectors will run you around $750. I got 4 precision 1600 injectors new for $400.1200cc's might get you to around 800whp.
I have 4 FuelInjectorClinic 1600cc installed.
