walbro, 1000cc injectors, cams should get you to 400whp on a Dynojet. I'm at 380whp on stock cams. Link to my mods are in my sig.

Doesn't Buschur have a mustang dyno? If so, you're gonna need some more goodies to hit 400whp on a mustang dyno

I think I could be close to 400 with just test pipe and turbo back, also lower and upper ICP's, don't you think? If you got 383 I think I could hold down 400

yeah it'll be at Buschur, but probably not until sometime in March, but I'll update this thread when that happens.

You are aware that a mustang dyno reads a lot lower than most other dyno's eh?

400whp on a proper reading mustang with the stock turbo on E85 is possible, it's hard and takes a well-planned mod path, but it's possible.

Here are two examples.

2006 Evo RS

Mods:

FP4R mivec cams
RC 1200cc injectors
Walboro FP
FMIC
Titek 02 housing
GST eleventy billion open air filter in hacked OEM airbox
LICP
3" TBE no cat
GM 3port boost solenoid using ECU-controlled boost

Stock ecu with map switching tephra mod
Stock MAF
Stock Evo 9 turbo ported
E85

2006 Evo GSR

Mods:

AEM intake
RC 1000cc injectors
Walboro FuelPump
Cosworth M2 cams
3" TBE no muffler or cat
GM 3port boost solenoid (ecu-controlled boost)
Stock ECU map switching (between 91 octane and E85) via TephraMod 5.10
GST Custom Dyno tune for 91 octane and E85

Stock turbo
Stock FMIC
Stock IC pipes

yeah those graphs are very helpful. Because I'm definately not touching cams, and at this point I'll be keeping the stock FMIC on, but I have ETS lower and upper ICP's, plus the turbo back, and I'll probably do the ported and coated manifold, so I think E85's gonna happen.

That and figure out the map switch mod...Kind of scared of that one, but I'm sure it's not too hard to figure out.

Without cams I have a hard time seeing you get 400 whp but I wish you the best of luck regardless.

well if I don't reach it, I won't be that angry, because I'm primarily going to focus on HPDE's and track days, which isn't reliant by any means on top power, but..... just for fun, I'd like to take it down to the quarter mile once and hopefully she'll be somewhere in the 11's, but again... won't kill myself over it.
