I keep looking at the power numbers that people are making with E85 vs. 91/93 octane pump and thinking that I need to convert to E85 (I'm in Chicagoland so E85 is readily available and considerably cheaper than 93 pump).

My concerns (other than needing to upgrade injectors, fuel pump and rescale big injectors) revolve around what happens when you can't find E-85 when you need to fill-up. My EVO isn't a true daily driver, but I do like to drive a lot in nice weather and do the occasional road trip. Do most of you E85 users run a a dual map setup (e.g., Tephra mod)? Do you set E85 as the primary or alt fuel? How low do you run the "bad" tank of 93 before you refuel with E85 and safely run the E85 map???

Given the huge performance gains that seem to be possible with E85 over pump 93, do we need to ask the Mods to setup a new E85 subforum???
