Iridiums FTMFW.

BR8EIX at .024"

565 hp on stock ignition and zero issues. I'm sure they can take more.

They are worth the price in my book.
Yes, 8's come with Iridiums too. The stock iridiums are like $15 a piece though.

How much are these each and how many miles have you gotten out of them?

Are the NGK LFR6A-11 coppers the exact same dimensions as the OEM Iridiums? I didn't think there were any coppers for the IX? Or have I been asleep at the wheel...again?

Yes they are. It makes it nice. I bought 6 sets from my local Napa just to have them in the toolbox

Just out of curiosity, has anyone actually tried a HOTTER than stock plug with E85?

I'm running the BPR7ES.

It appears that the same plug is available in 6, 5, 4, and 2 heat range.

Since this is not on the poll, I vote NGK Iridium BPR8EIX (6.99/each at oreily's - 1 year warranty)

10,000 miles on them, over 60 passes at the strip, and hundreds of pulls on the street. E85/33lbs of boost (car traps 137-138 to get an idea of the power it makes). Car has never broken up at all with this set yet. Gapped at .022". This is with the used spoolinup COP non cdi. Standard copper plugs don't last long at all for me.

Is this considered an OEM equivalent plug? I might try a set of these. Now I'm changing copper plugs every other oil change.

Do you think the COP plays a significant role in your happiness with these plugs? I don't have a COP setup. Yet.

I'm not sure if its equivalent to OEM for evo 9's. definitely not 8's though.

Nope, actually I ran these plugs before even getting a COP and it was perfectly fine. I bought the COP thinking it would fix my misfire issue, but the plugs did by themselves.

br7es @ .023"
I change them every third oil change. I'm going to try .024" today. I was using bpr8es on 91 oct @ .025" gap, but it would blow out on E85 and 27+psi.

I will be running the NGK BPR9EIX for my EVO8 until I am convinced otherwise.

i use bpr8es they usually go about 2500 miles.

reason i use copper plugs is because i like to get the reading off the plugs every now and then,
so i use a plug that makes me change them sooner then later so i have an excuse to remove them,
do a leakdown/comp test, etc..
