Knock during spool/load up

Knock during spool/load up
I was wondering if I could get some help with an issue that I'm having. It's nothing major but I would like to learn how to fix it or what I'm doing wrong.
I'm getting knock during spool up/load up, nothing terrible 1-2 counts of knock, but it is annoying seeing those blemishes There are times when it is more excessive 3-4 counts, but it isn't consistant.
I'm pretty sure it has to do with how rich it's getting during spool, although I could be wrong. Here's some pics of my maps and where it's doing the knocking.
Any help is always appreciated.

I'm going to try to lean it up under spool and lower the timing just a bit in the knock areas.. I'll report back tomorrow.
Edit: Figured it out...I was running too rich under spool and just a tad too much timing. I lowered the timing in the neccessary areas and leaned it up a fair amount. Problem solved and she runs even stronger now.

How much did you lean your spool up? Could you post the map tracers after your changes?
I just switched to E85 and I'm getting consistent tip in knock, and even some knock in the higher rpm range. I'll post my map tracers tomorrow, but I'm wondering if my fuel is more like E60 since this is my first tank and there was still some 93 oct left in the tank when I filled up (even though my gas gauge was below the empty line).

I have the same issue....
I lowered timing in the glide path and that helped... it isnt totally gone right now, but it only happens when i accelerate slowly. Doesnt happen when i go WOT. Very strange

I lowered the timing a few degrees here and there on the spool path, along with leaning it up a tad. That cured the WOT pull tip in knock, but not the part throttle "kinda goin" situation. I thought this could be a fuel issue too (e70 as oppposed to 85). The stations are now carrying e78 blend. That has helped just a little, but not a lot.
I cant get rid of it no matter what I do....I guess I'll wait till real e85 is in town again and see what happens.

^ since you are on e85 you can shoot for a little more timing at peak load...i.e. 5 degrees or so. Also, as I said earlier, E85 can run quite a bit leaner and still make power...i.e. 12.8-9 during spool and 11.8-9 for the rest of the pull.
Are you certain that the knock you see is "real".

I have had consistent knock issues with my evo for some time now in the lower rpms, most likely attributed to my drivetrain or clutch, but I'm now wondering if I'm running too rich in those lower rpm's as people are suggesting. Any moderate pulls around 2,500 rpms I get knock. If I do a pull from 3K rpms I don't get any knock, still trying to figure this out, as it's now been about a year...
