Is this still required or is there now a plug and play harness out now? Reason I ask is I live in CA and may need to smog which would require me to switch to a stock "looking" injector if needed.

Im running the Injector Dynamics 1000's in the Supra and I got to say its a significant step coming off resistor boxes and Precision 1000's. Much easier to tune and way more consistent running. They provide you with dialed in voltage offset table for each set of injectors so it provides you with dead on offset tables. The start-up and idle on these is far superior to any large injector that i have ran. My vote is the ID1000 but i have never tried the FIC's.

High-Z Injector Resistor Pack Bypass
Here you go: http://www.szabaga.com/store/resistor.html ...just ordered this myself actually.

The injectors are on the backside of the engine. I wouldn't worry about a smog tech recognizing non-stock injectors. Should be pretty easy to hide the PnP resistor pack plug as well.

The ID1000s apparently do well in other vehicles, but there are several not-so-great reviews on EvoM from people who know how to wrench and tune cars.

I would go with a 1400 blue max just b.c I have more fuel then not enough and injector duty cycles will be low, less stress but that's just me

The only difference in the two companies are they way the injectors are modified.

ID has 3 flow sizes to choose from and FIC has 10.

Both companies use same Bosch new technology injector.

Have you had any starting issues with the RC1000s? I assume as many setups you have done with these they are pretty dialed in for E85 use. Would you still recommend them for a full bolt on (stock turbo) IX that switches from 92oct to E85 periodically?

I think at the time Bryan was referring to ID1000s versus the RCs. Having owned and ran more or less every injector between 560s and 2150s I can say with great authority that my 2150s start better than RC1000s. Getting an injector in the 900/1100 range (if you are using high impedance) will only be better. In low impedance the FIC950 is better than the RC.

To answer a question that never did get covered, FIC doesnt overrate size. If anything they are a little smaller than advertised it seems compared to most of the other vendors.

I've tried them all. BY FAR the best injector I have found is the ID1000 and ID2000's. If it were up to me they'd be the only injector I ever used again. Unfortunately they are not cheap, so the guys who want the best buy them and the other people drag their ill running crap in here to try to have sorted out.

Humm thats what I expected in a way. I had planned on going with RC1000's seeing as it's fairly easy to find really good deals on them. Availability being an issue for E85 for me I will only use it sparingly when I travel the distance to get some or go to the track. But hearing all the rave about the FIC 1100 high Z's I think it's probably just worth it to get those. If you get a chance Aaron can you PM me what kind of deals you get on those FIC's. Thanks for the response!

The FIC 1100H's are a great choice! They also provide you with 20% more flow over the 900's giving you more head room down the road.

what about the FIC 850cc injectors?

http://www.maperformance.com/fuel-in...-126-0850.html

i want a mild build that wont waste so much gas haha.
i think 1000cc is a lil much on the gas.
plus they say its rated up to 600whp which my goal is like 400-450whp at the moment.

whats the difference between low impedience and high impedience??
