Sorry to disagree with the OP, but I'm not sending the letter; I'll be glad to pay the full cost of E85.

Now if we could only get users of imported oil to pay the full cost of their fuel... That's the letter you should all be writing!!!

I sent the three letters a few days ago. Bump this up! Please post on other car forums, Facebook, twitter, other social networks. Message, email, IM, PM your friends and co-workers. Talk about it and spread the news/link at work/school. If everyone does their part, this should easily surpass 100,000+ nationwide. To be more effective, we need to reach a goal of like 1million people.

Good work everybody. To those that would like to pay the extra per gallon.......If this tax isn't imposed then you can send me that $.38 per gallon that you use if that makes you feel better. I have my thoughts about how our government is and has handled the crude oil situation and their efforts towards alternative fuels but I'll keep that for another thread. All I can say is if this was a petroleum fuel tax there would be a serious national outcry not to mention everything we purchase would go up in cost yada yada yada!!

If u want to make a good case about this to ur friends and family that doesn't know anything about e85, tell them that government vehicles uses E85. If the prices goes up on E85, vehicles such as government vehicles, will have to pay full price for it....in return, they will be paying more since we pay for government vehicles' gas from our taxes.
