Couple station chains were doing a deal around here earlier this summer for 2.15 a gallon. Otherwise it was 2.93 last I checked.

$2.99-$3.04 in Colorado.

I have a picture I took a couple years ago of it at $1.99...

And then a few stations when they open have E85 for $0.85/g as a promotion.

NightCat,

It's around $3.40 up here (Greeley), but there is one station in Ft. Collins that is always 2.99 or less.

I'd like to know why/when the prices will be lower too as the OP asked. I have some customers who fill up a 55 gallon drum ever so often because they have to travel a bit for it. I may do that because of the fluctuating prices.

There's a bunch of E85 gas stations around me, but I have a couple within 5 miles. I go to the same one every time, and the lowest I paid was last month $2.19. I was shocked when I pulled up to the pump and saw that price. It has gone up now, but I just paid $2.55 which isn't bad at all considering I just paid $3.85 for 89 Lol.

The two stations I get my fix from are right around $3.40 and have stayed around that price point for at least the last year. Not great but with 93 being $4.19 it could be worse I suppose.

At the end of the day, nobody on here that I know of made the switch to corn for economical reasons. Sure its an added bonus if you are saving money but I know personally I will never go back to 93 unless the stations around me (or lack thereof) stop selling it.

There are two stations that I go to here in Columbia SC, 1 of them the price is right at 2.79 and the other is like 3.40. Really weird how far apart the prices are.

Actually that was a factor to me. It was at least a selling point to my wife. LOL. I've been obsessed with fuel economy lately as well (ONe could make the case that you don't get over 700 hp out of your Evo and expect to have good gas mileage, lol).

I see all these people getting retardedly good gas mileage so I have been monitoring my fuel consumption.

It sucks. LOL.

Smurf it is $3.23 up here at Norfolk Base, and is only $2.79 about 30 minutes away... but pricing on base will not budge until they get another tank in and then pricing will be adjusted off that particular load...

So the prices vary wildly sometimes in state. The E85 station on the way to Spec-Ops from Raleigh is higher then regular (It was 3.65/gallon this past weekend).

Yeah pricing in my opinion varies wildly... I have just sucked it up and went back to pump as my injectors were pretty gunked up the last time I checked them... While the extra horsepower is nice, I really don't feel like replacing a headgasket or a motor due to the gunk...

I have even been throwing around the idea of going back to a single pump and FIC high-z 1100s for better drivability...

The truth comes out

Filled up last night for $3.45 a gallon. Not great compared to some of you, however I was looking back at old receipts and when I was in school in Delaware I paid $3.82 a gallon for it.
