Seeing as you're in Australia I would look into Haltech's Platinum Pro Series right now. It's plug and play for the IX. One of the tech's there is almost done testing the newer Elite series and claims the results are good. The bonus for you is Haltech is local so you'll get great tech support if/when needed. I found these video's really helpful in convincing me this is the way to go when I can afford it!
