Boost cut issue

Hello, so I got my car tuned during the end of summer last year ever since it will randomly throw a code for overboost . Will also in 3rd and 4th gear boost cut it does not do it all the time will do it once in a while . Wanted to know what everyone think it could be. I was think it could be a faulty map sen but I'm not sure . Thanks for any input.

what are you using for boost control? What is your load limit set to in your rom vs what peak loads are you seeing in your logs?

Well first thing to start with is a boost leak test. In doing this you will determine if anything became disconnected or is leaking, including the boost control setup. Then you will want to verify that you are actually running the boost level you think you are. Gauges tend to go bad and aren't nearly as good as a data log. The chances that your MAP sensor is going bad is probably pretty low. Do you have a way of doing any data logging?
