Sunoco pump e85 vs Sunoco e-85r tunes?
Hi everyone, I’m in the process of having a flex fuel kit installed. Wanted to know if there is any difference in performance using race e-85 vs the pump e-85? Would a tune that is for pump e-85 work with e-85r?

If it were me, i would just tune for regular pump E85. Sure, it would be nice to get the E85R but im sure there is a $$premium$$ for that
In my area, my station consistently puts out a close 85% based on my own testing
Regarding the tune, one could extend the tune parameters, a bit, if 85% could be relied on
The flex fuel kit opens up the E85 percentage ranges for the tune, so you should be pretty safe
Here's the Sonoco Ad for E85R
