Lean Spool RPM

What does the Lean Boost Spool RPM (set at 2500 for stock cars) do?

good question, anyone? and also an explanation of how it would affect the engine if moving the set point up and down?

I know malibu jack is working on it and so am i've been changing the rpm points and logging to see what it does but i haven't had time to review and compare them, prob get to it some time next week.

Nope, has no function...

Edit: I may be mistaken, since there is no solenoid, or air pump for the anti-lag system, it may not have any function.. However there may be a way to utilize this feature, stay tuned there's more to this..

Oh, and what lean spool means is it pumps air into the exhaust manifold to force the remaining fuel to finish burning, creating additional exhaust pressure to help spool the turbo..

If you look at the jdm engines including the 9 they have pipes that go to ports between 1 and 2 + 3 and 4. also most jdm headers have these ports is this the antilag?

Yes its the air injection ports used by the antilag system... though my experience with ports like that is usually emission controls.. LOL

Word, I have always wondered what those pipes going to the headers on JDM models. I thought they might be anti lag or EGT sensor.

If anyone can tell us what parts & hardware we need, we could start using anit-lag.
