No that question was for awdyno....sorry. I was just looking at his trap speeds and horsepower on the dyno. That must have been a very light car.

No, I think what you guys did on a stock car, in Arizona, in the summer, on a mustang dyno, with the ECUFlash is very impressive. Don't take what I am saying as a critisism in ANY way. My stock MR dyno'd 243 on a Mustang and I would be completely stoked with those kinds of numbers in that setting.

The AFR reads 12.2:1. I know that the car is running 104 oct gas, but isn't that too much on the lean side especially since it gets so hot in AZ? Is the car meant for drag racing or road racing? Is the owner going to always run 104 oct?

The 12:1 A/F was in the early RPM range when the turbo was spooling. We were aiming for 11.5:1. 19 PSI is virtually no boost on an Evolution. I will run her at the track next weekend to see if I can touch 12s virtually stock. This car in the long run will not be for drag race, it is going to be a balanced daily driver and I will time attack it once in a while. I only drag race occasionally to get a reference to see how the car is running.

Don't want to spend the money on a Blitz I-Color right now and I can't justify beating up my motor with more boost in the AZ summer heat. Car runs stong.

Sure thing....but it's pretty boring below 6000 RPMS

Well, the 12.2 number is under the AVERAGE heading and the MAX is 14.5 and the Min ia 11.4.

I know that the Mustang dyno uses an innovate unit. But was it hooked up at the tailpipe or the downpipe? If it was the tailpipe and you had no exhaust leaks, then MAYBE your downpipe AFR is richer by about 0.3-0.4 than the reading from the tailpipe. So your 12.2 AVG is about 11.8-11.9.

If you are going to run 104 oct ALL the time, then it should be ok, but if you run 91 octane (like in CA) that AFR might be too much in hot weather.

Look were the A/F is strait. That is all in 11.5:1 range. The O2 Sensor was at the tailpipe. A/F on 91 is fine. We did not go super aggressive. We were mainly playing with MIVEC.
