I'll put into nontechnical terms that even I can understand: Think of like this:

You think yours appears scattered, my first log had recorded about 10 things so data was read at longer intervals. I recorded a rolling 1-2-3 gear pull. My clutch is slipping now so that readings for each gear the RPM stay within a 1500rpm window
