every time i get big knock sums on the rev limiter my octane number decrements by a point or two, then recovers within a few seconds.

Finally got the right load and correct info, thanks for the help yesterday MalibuJack and Mchuang!

Man this stuff gets more fun and useful by the day!

EDIT - WOW, thats small,
I reccomend evomoto's install. THis should help: picture compilation
I did an install w/ their directions about a month ago. took us 18 hours w/ a shop and lift. definatley not easy getting the trans in and out, those are the hard parts.

If you got evo scan..go register at aktivematrix.com download the tools Malibu Jack has hosted on that site.. and you will be able to see a decent load calculation.

I've seen loads as high as 325 on my '03 with a FP White Rabbit. This was typically in the 3000-5000 RPM area and then tapering off to 240 near redline.

check you injector size and latency is correct as whats loaded in your rom..

it should be 513 unless you are running a different sized injector.. the set what you programmed.. its not the actual size of your injectors..

once and a while I'll hit low 290s, but it usually only when the weather is in the 60*s. THat is the highest I've seen on my personal car.

On a stock turbo I'd rarely if ever hit over 280.. On the GT35r I've hit 330 or so... It also depends on your mods since anything that affects the meter will alter the readings (hence why combination counts for everything.. )
