Radio Shack has the female DB-9 connector. You then have to put wires in the little clips provided and slide them into the back of the connector. Mine works fine and costs like $3.00. Once that is done go to Wideband on the Evoscan menu, pick UEGO and then the COM port you are running it on. On the list of items the wideband reading will appear. Don't do the Hyperlink crap, it does now work. All you needs is the two wires.

Here is the Radio Shack part information:
Female D-sub connector
Inside the package is also the little connectors for each wire. These you crimp the wire into and then slide them into the female port number. The connector even has little numbers on it. Blue to number 2 hole and ground to number 5 hole. This is as simple as filling in a coloring book with numbers. I mounted my port behind the ash tray. So to connect up I take the ash tray out and put my DB-9 to USB adapter in. Works GREAT! Here is the adapter I am also running. I had it from when I used DSMlink.
DB9 Serial to USB adapter
This should be almost brainless from here. Post up if you need more information. I have been where you are and clueless, but if you understand simple wiring then this should be possible. I will post pics of my behind ashtray setup.

Check which com it is using in the device manager window. I think it usually picks either 1 or 4. Go to Evoscan wideband menu and select the com to whatever that was. Then make sure to select AEM wideband in the external wideband menu. Finally check the checkbox in the log list, External Wideband.
