I went to go flash my ecu this morning, and something strange happened. The flash took much longer than usual....about 1 or 2 minutes as opposed to 10 seconds. I was going to stop the flash, but I was scared of messing something up so I let it go. The next three times I tried to start my car, it started for 2 seconds then shut off. Now, it won't even start. What happened? How can I fix this????

 

If it was caused by a bad flash, reflash it again... Put your stock rom back on when you reflash it to be sure its not something corrupt in your new rom.

 

Yup...bad ROM....Thanks. I was going crazy because I tried like 6 different ROMs that I made, and none of them worked. Then I remembered that all the new ROMs I made were based off that one stock ROM I got off a website.
