So if someone could just help out with a complete evo IX pinout...it really would be that simple.

You can try fliping the test pipe 180 degrees so that the 02 senor faces in a different direction.

Only when you use the stock cat you run out of room but then why to use a stock cat if you are planning on putting a CEL fix right?

I ran all 3 different possible configurations on my Evo 9 and never had any isues:

1) 3" HF cat
2) 3" test pipe
3) 3" resonator

What type of pipe are yu running? what type of o2 fooler are you using? they aren't that tall..

Carlos
i am running a helix test pipe and before i ran the dc downpipe but the o2 went on my hks carbon ti exhaust

I figured it out.
Unfortunately I think I may have damaged the heater circuit of my primary 02 sensor in the process.

Never resistance test an 02 sensor wires with the 02 sensor plugged in. Multimeters put out a voltage in order to resistance test and I guess that was too high for the 02 sensor to take. But at least I found the wire.

Anyone have an extra bank 1 sensor 1?

I will post a tutorial in a bit once I have confirmed that it works.

The posted EVO IX pinout is missing wires.

I thought I had fingered it out, but apparently not.
Haven't had the time to do much more. I will though.

Hm, i am not sure, but I think that the power a multimeter can supply, will not be enough, to damage a heater circuit. I thing this circuit is very durable.

On the other hand, I think the O2 signal outgoing circuit is very sensible to incoming power.

You're on the money.

I had traced the heater wire with a multimeter's resistance test. I found the correct wires on the ECU. After I cut one, and connected it to the other, I got a heater code for low voltage in B1S1 which I thought was very strange since that was the "untouched" sensor.

At that point I thought I had damaged the primary sensor using the multimeter. After returning the wiring to stock, I realized I had not done so.

When I get a sec, I will trace the other heater wire. Perhaps I used the wrong one. You wouldn't happen to know which black wire is what do you?
