I dont think it has to be that high. I have mine at all 255s and can boost 25.5lbs on my MAP sensor.
If you still hitting fuel/boost cut at 255, try 265, then 275, etc. untill you get it where its good. I dont like the idea of just putting it at max.

I think is nice to keep the boost limit below complete saturation (319) which effectively disables it. The reason I say this is that if the hose comes off your actuator you might not lift the throttle in time to avoid a crazy overboost and engine damage.

I will try to turn it down to a point where my boost stops

What exactly have you done to your boost maps, if your asking for help that would help other people help you.

I put all stuff back to original config. including the restrictor pill and the stock flash maps, just for be shure, and the car still runnig bad about 4500 and upper rpms, i thing maybe is the fuel filter or something like that, I'm going to check all the normal stuff and then I'm going to return to the boost mod, don't get angry

by the way, I need to learn all about tunnig my US$41k car "local price here in mexico" because there is no dyno or tuner or nothing in here....

What part of mexico you in. My fiancee is from D.F. So I will be going there soon. and tambien Guanajuato

tampico is about 500km south brownsville tx. at the coast.. 3.5 hrs from the border.. good roads... virtualy no speed limit nice food, tequila & cheap coronas 5 hours to guanajuato and 8 or 9 to mexico city...

btw the only mod in my car is a cat delete pipe.... does I need a tune for that ?

Man you need a tune for a factory evo lol it is pig rich and timing is defintely too conservative.

when you say "running bad" do you just mean the car feels weak? how much boost is the car even making? if you put it back to stock and it still feels weak maybe you have a boost leak? im assuming you have a boost gauge?

ok I'm back, I have an defective egr valve, it's replaced, good running now I'm going to install the boost mod on again.....

Part throttle linearity, boost profile set by RPM, low boost during warm up, low boost if trouble code or low octane number.
