MJ, Will WinRar 3.61 be the one I am looking for? I found it in the downloads section as a trial.

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE NEW VERSION, it eliminates the data glitch that people are seeing as -14 degrees in their timing column.

Also, if someone wants to spend some time with the load calculation, I've discovered its off by about 20% or so.. (115% calculated is actually 140 or so..)

The way to fix it is to look at ECULoad and Load, ECULoad clips over 160 but you can see that under load it is off by about 20% when it ramps (not at idle or cruise, it will be off because of closed loop)
Are the xml files the same between the two versions? I set-up the xml file in V1 just the way I like it. Can I use it in the Release A version?

Yeah its the same.. I specifically created those file formats to make converting from Evoscan easier.. Which its not necessary any more, but this is the format that these files use in all the v1 versions of Mitsulogger.

There's a possibility that the v2 file will change, but I haven't decided what the change will be yet.

MJ need your expertise. I downloaded a trial version on WinRar 3.61 and added to a C: file named ECUflash along with the ECUflash and Mitsulogger software. The WinRar automatically assigned itself to the Mitsulogger but, how the heck do you open or run the Mistulogger?

Wht I mean is I click on the icon and get a bunch of other icons but, which runs the program? I know it sounds elementary but, I am confused

To make this easier for you. After you have installed winrar, all you have to do is locate where you downloaded the mitsulogger file and right click on it. Then select "Extract here" and a folder called "MitsuLogger v1 Release A" should appear. Open up the folder and then click on MitsuLogger (not the text file) and it should boot up...assuming that you've also installed the .NET framework from microsoft. If it says it failed to initialized just google ".NET 2.0 Download". Good luck.

Hey MJ, could you explain (or point me to where you already have) what some of the options are and when/if they are needed? Things like 2 Byte Response, Response Wait, Injector Scale, and Latency @14v.

I've posted this on my forum, but here's the quick and dirty..

2 byte response is used on a modified rom, using "Bez Bashni's Mods" Same with changing the baud rate, its something you won't need unless you have patched your rom (which most of us have not yet done) since its use is pretty limited at the moment.

Response wait is what it says, it allows you to add time between the requestID and the response to give it time to respond, if you frequently get bad data, or weird values, this is a value you increase 1ms at a time, its not really something anyone has had to adjust to resolve issues recently, but its there just in case.

Injector scale, and Latency are values for calculating load, if you have upgraded your injectors, then adjustments might have been made to the ECU for these new injectors. You would use those values here to get the load calculations to be accurate for those changes. If you have stock injectors, there's no need to alter the value.

Thanks for your response and of course all the time you've spent in programming all these tools.

What is the timeline on adding the ability to log a wideband, such as a PLX Device or Innovate? Also what about boost, similar to the ECU+ via a map sensor?
