Can I use my evo cable for a subaru? I check it out and the only difference that I see is that it has to jump to cables....

yes you need the connectors. then the cable will work.

 

I'm using the Subaru cable my friend bought for his WRX to do logging with my Evo. The only thing is, I can't reflash with it. So you should be able to use it vice versa for logging, but need the connectors to reflash your ecu.

 

You can't reflash a 2001-2005 WRX with a Mitsubishi cable. It lacks a reflash voltage needed for those cars. That is why there are the different cable versions for sale. There is now a universal version which has all of the parts in one cable, but that is the only one which will do the WRX and Mitsubishi vehicles.
