Stock turbo, stock actuator, intermediate gears, top end on pump gas

99RON, UK IX, 3" elbow back exhaust, modified airbox, Walbro, AVC-R.

I logged a little more with flat 1.80 kg/cm^2 target, 65% midrange duty, 90% from 6000 RPM just to see what the turbo/stock actuator would do in intermediate gears with low atmo pres.

3rd gear, 5219 RPM, 1603 Hz, 265kPa, 267 load, 6 deg timing, 81% IDC

4th gear, 5250 RPM, 1603 Hz, 271kPa, 268 load, 7 deg timing, 83% IDC

4th gear, 6000 RPM, clip Hz, 268kPa, 263 load, 9 deg timing, 88% IDC

4th gear, 6500 RPM, clip Hz, 259kPa, 247 load, 10 deg timing, 94% IDC

4th gear, 7000 RPM, clip Hz, 246kPa, 232 load, 12 deg timing, 100% IDC (ECU requested over 100%).

I got knock sums of 4-6 at 6500 RPM plus, so the timing above is 1-2 degrees below the mapped values there.

Atmo pres was only 100 kPa today, only 93.5 kPa at 7000 RPM in 4th running that boost.

Because of the 4-6 knock sums at 232-247 load at 6500-7000 I've taken a degree off at 240 load at 6500-7000 giving the above. However, I'm going back to my usual midrange held boost level of 1.65 kg/cm^2 (265kPa absolute) which is programmed to drop by 0.05 kg/cm^2 / 500 RPM from 5500 RPM upwards.

Logged by the barometric pressure sensor in the MAF housing.

Thank you for posting the maps! It really, really makes it easier to compare mine to someone elses to see how different people are doing things.

Quick question though. On your timing map, I only see 19 rows. It appears that the RPM row for 1750 is not there. Is this something you did on purpose, or am I just missing something?

Thanks again!

JDM/UK IX has 19 rows. This is the standard scaling.
