Help needed - rkrv: preamble 1 error

Help needed - rkrv: preamble 1 error

[00:06:36.109] 524288 byte image read.
[00:07:17.078] 524288 byte image written.
[00:07:35.114] 524288 byte image read.
[00:08:06.619] sending init sequence 1 (0001)
[00:08:07.651] got 0x05 response
[00:08:07.651] sending init sequence 2
[00:08:07.661] got 0x1B response
[00:08:07.671] sending init sequence 3
[00:08:08.071] entering bootloader
[00:08:08.091] sending kernel size (3424)
[00:08:08.121] sending kernel load address (0xFFFF6000)

Would someone be kind enough to explain what is this error & how to go around it?

The farnie thing is I can download the rom image from my friend's e9 but cant upload it. I would get this "rkrvreamble 1 error".

anybody?

tried charging the battery as well....still the same error code appear....

just cant figure out how to resolve this issue...

try to reinstall ecuflash, also make sure you have the additional white connector hooked up right next to the obd 2 port.

There is a communications problem happening during the kernel load. What model/year car are you dealing with here? Does the ROM you are trying to write match this car? If not, EcuFlash may be trying to load the wrong kernel for this car, which would cause it to be unresponsive like this (e.g. trying to load a Evo9 ROM into a Evo8 car or vice-versa).

Hi Colby,

It is from evo9...

Able to read stock image from evo9, than when i tried to reflash back to it this error message appear.
