just a thought, but try pulling out your floormat(if you have them in), sometimes it'll get up under the pedal enough to not allow it to go all the way to the floor. it sounds stupid, but it's happened to people before.

also push on the top of the pedal area or at least middle top of it... and ram it home

I've heard it happening, on my car however I get 100% at just over 3/4 throttle so its before I plant it.

well i kinda am because the ecu takes the tps voltage into consideration when adjusting timing and fuel. boost doesnt so that might not be a good thing. i guess i'll adjust it and see if it helps. maybe my throttle plate isnt opening up all the way.

What is your idle tps like? Mine is 13.73, I looked at a few lgs on the forum that reach 100 and there idle is around 14. It seem like there is a slight offset.

mine seems to be 12.9% most of the time at idle. sometimes it dips to 12.5%

It doesnt matter where TPS is. The ECU goes off LOAD. as long as the engine is making all the load it can (if TB plate it not opening 100% then it might matter), it will be fine.

doesn't the ECU use the TPS to know when to switch from closed to open loop maps?

Thats not entirely true, the open loop maps do rely heavily on load, but TPS plays a factor in most of the calculations as the throttle position will affect the fueling, TPS is used to determine the transition from closed loop to open loop, Load is also actually. disconnect your TPS sensor and see what happens..

I'd have to agree with MJ. Though TPS does not show up in tables as frequently in EcuFlash on an Evo as, say, a WRX, many of the logs I've looked at strongly suggest a computational connection.

That said, I personally wouldn't worry about a .4% error at the top. TPS 'decisions' are generally made on a fairly course basis. 5, 10, even 20% increments.
