My mini battery would last about 3 days. If I didnt start it atleast every 3rd day it would need a jump.

Is it something normal about the mini batt. or grounding or something? It's almost making me want to get rid of it.

When my battery was new, it lasted for weeks without a problem, as it got older it didn't hold a charge as well.

Another thing to keep in mind is anything that consumes power (an alarm, battery supply for the radio, clock, etc) for the most part any aftermarket electronics that always draw a small amount of current will kill a battery quicker, and the mini battery doesn't have alot of reserve.

My mini battery is great so far. Sometimes I don't drive the car for a week and it still starts with no hesitation. Battery is relatively new.

By a trickle charger.

if you start your car, play your music/ subs whatever. drive to the store/friends house whatever, and the drive only takes say 10 min? with your music loud, you repeat that, enough times and the battery will run lower and lower every time.

you guys have to remember, an alternator runs everything in your car, + trickle charges the battery. On average a really low battery requiers an 1 1/2 of driving on a properly working charging system in a car , that should bring the starting voltage up to normal ( 12.4+ volts. Thats assuming the car dosent have additional things like monitors, subs, your lap top hooked up with a power inverter and so on.

so if you do alot of short trips, 5 min drive, to the store, music cranked up, you may have issues with it especially a mini battery.

Not normal , ive had a mini batt for allmost 3 years now. The ONLY time it didnt start the car was when i left the headlights on for 15 mins . But every other time it worked like a champ , even after sitting for 2 weeks .
