Jdm Evo Ix Rom Help

All the JDM EVO IX roms I try to open in ECUFlash, will not open. I can't find one that has a file extension .hex Thanks for any help in advance

Is there a benefit for using the JDM evo IX ROM compared to the USDM one?

I have heard that the JDM map, offers more lowend

You need the definition file. pm me your email address and I'll send you the complete image and definition file. You need to datalog this map, I just downloaded it from openecu.org so no guarantees that it's even what it says it is, however it appears to be the right image. You need to drop the definition file in the metadata Mitsubishi folder in ECUFlash. I found it on openecu.org. Not in the maps section it was in the forum as IX GSR map and def.

Hi

What file extentions do you see. .bin should open as well. Have you unzipped any ROMs that you downloaded from the net?

When you save the ROM that has been read from your car you need to manualy add .hex to the file name. Look in the folder where you saved the ROMs to and see what file extension you have for it.

most people are snatching it up for the vvt map.

you can find that alone on here....

Yea, I wouldnt try to run the timing / fuel map. Although the boost maps are interesting. They actually have wastegate duty cycles set instead of 100%
