Power graph of FPEvo Green

When I first installed this turbo, I was running a split duration of HKS 280/264 and made just about the same numbers you see below. The motor could run in the mid 11 AFRs, 23 lbs of boost and was giddy as a girl. Since then, I thought the 264 exhaust was restricting my top-end power, so I unstalled HKS 272/272 cams with cam gears set at -2* respectively. The issue I don't like now is that I have to run her pig fat just to keep her quiet. Don't get me wrong...she hauls *****, but at a higher fuel consumption. At this point, I think I will swap out my cams for the 45th time. I've gotten quite good at it by now! Anyway, here's a look.

have you tried -3i -1e yet? may give you a little more knock suppression in the midrange. I tried -2 -1, -4 -1, and -3 -1. The latter gave teh best all around combination for me with hks 272's. I'm not on a green though. The greens I have tuned were very quiet once you got past peak torque. What kinda timing are you running?

Yes, you are right about the peak torque knock activity. Tip-in and AFR adjustment corrected this. As far as timing is concerned...not a lot, 6-11* through peak torque and power. She just wants fuel. Oh well, you gotta tune for what the motor wants. Once I get back on the 280/264 sauce I should pick up at least 10 more HP and torque. D'oh! I posted the SAE corrected graph...it should read 353HP and 342 torque uncorrected. This makes sense since I have to run richer and lower timing. I'll tell ya though...this turbo is a kick in the pants! I pulled onto a highway yesteday from a stop sign and she got sideways in a hurry!!!

Why does that log show more than 15* at 4000 rpm?

Trust me, it ain't...at 4-5.5k, I'm only running 5-6*. It also shows that I'm running 42* at 2300 RPM...we also know that isn't right, right? Perhaps we've noted a deficiency in DLL.

Your timing scaling might be off then. My copy of DLL visualizes all my data correctly.

I would really like to see a power graph of a IX vs the FPGreen Turbos (before and after on the same car).

Come to think of it I would like to see a before and after graph of a 10.5 hotside VIII vs IX turbos.

My DLL shows the exact timing as that of the log. I have had zero problems with DLL. I do not know why yours is off.

I have been using 93 oct in CA since June of 06. Just find a gas station that sells 100 octane and mix to get the desired octane.
