well the code was initially hacked together just to get the loggers working. I believe both evoscan and mitsulogger just grabbed the first FTDI device they found, with plans to fix any issues later on. well now its later on.

does anyone reccommend any serial to USB devices for the LC-1?

Yes they are 100% compatable, and will continue to be, I even kept the same USB PID so that you can use the same installed drivers. Which is especially important for Mobile device drivers, ya don't want two sets of drivers taking up memory. The EvoScan 1.4E cable is a low cost solution and contains no boot flash circuits, The EvoScan 1.3M is the same design as the openport 1.3M and supports the boot flash connector.

Nah, you don't need to pay additional for upgrades, the goal of the project is to get everyone out there datalogging as cheaply as possible but if you feel really guilty about using all these cool new features without paying, you are more than welcome to donate to paypal@limitless.co.nz (no more than a small amount though cause I don't want people to think they have to)

Excellent news...Looking forward to the new release....Was amazed how good this was to use on the old boys 2.3 stroker and the road dyno feature should keep the road tuners happy...

For the amount of time I spend using your product and your hard work, and that I can't even remember paying any amount for it but $20 - 30, I just had to drop off a little change.

Thanks for the 70 whp I found by using evoscan
