349whp mustang dyno EcuFlash Map

Since my personal EVO has turned into a sort of testbed, I figured I would post up my current EcuFlash map that makes 349whp.

There are some maps I am not showing but the overall tune is here.

As usual, don't copy it and expect your car to run well, I'm not responsible for it's use on anything other than my own personal EVO.

There are some big changes here and some subtle changes that some might actually miss at first glance.

Am I crazy for posting this? Yea maybe, but hey what the hell. I'm all for sparking conversation.

Here is a sample log from that tune:

Here is a dyno chart from that tune, this mustang reads very low, much like Buschurs. For perspective, a well-driven 300whp evo on this dyno can run 11.9's.

Very well done Bryan. How much boost was it holding by redline, the normal 20-21 or so?

Interesting...regarding your injector battery voltage latency and injector scaling. Different strokes!

I also like the Y axis on the ignition map...koo!

Thanks Bryan, I enjoyed looking through your maps and I like them. Although our specs differ (my octane is about 95 [~93PON+10% meth in tank] and I have a IX on standard cams but quite similar otherwise), our styles appear similar in terms of sensible timing and smoothness which comes through in your posts, and the maps are broadly similar except you can run more timing up top. I run very similar to your duty cycle profile on my AVC-R.

Timing here: http://john824.fotopic.net/p38418308.html

I would say your maps are an example of good tuning and will be educational for users to compare with standard to see what you've done.

Thanks John, I believe the boost is 20 at 7200 but I can double check the boost plot tonight.

I like the rescale on the rpm axis... I have been thinking about doing just that for some time now to get more resolution in some troublesome areas of timing advance.

jcsbanks, I appreciate the compliments! Yes the 9's seem to get a bit grumpy with more timing compared to the 8's. It's even more compounded on 91 octane.

Of course there are more than one way to tune but for my personal car, this works the best so far.

I find it interesting that your timing near onset of boost is about what mine is on 93 with the better cooling passages and MIVEC. You ramp up the timing alot faster than I can without the aforementioned "grumpiness" though. My car on pump doesnt seem to like much more than 15* max.
