Another...review my first logs
Alright guys and gals. Here are my first couple of logs. The only mod I have a Buschur TBE with test pipe and magnaflow. I included my stock (current) rom and the one I plan on reflashing tomorrow...I rescaled the boost desired engine load, subtraced 20 from each of the three tables; and boost control load offset, changed from 80 to 100. It is easier to do the math in my head. I also took the mivec map from this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=251781
Well, I can't load the roms because they are 150kb zipped
I will be installing my wideband this weekend. I plan on running the Perrin EBCS and using the WDC to control boost. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I came up with a little formula to get an estimate of psi from calculated load. I don't know if someone has already done this or something similar but it seems to work. From what I understand 255 engine load is about 1.55 bar, per a post #5 by jcsbanks: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...light=1.55+bar.
So I came up with this:
((engine load*1.55)/255)*14.5 = psi.
I made a formula in Excel to make it easy to read ~psi.

It looks like to me that your car isnt boosting very high, based on just the load cells that you are running in. 100 TPS and you should clip Hz by 5200 or so at the latest but it doesnt seem to be happening.
One thing that I have done while tuning is leave the offset alone, alter the error correction table and just adjust the WDC/DBL tables till I get the boost curve I like. This isnt meant as anything other than help, but I have seen BONEstock VIII's run higher load through the whole rpm range.
I am curious about the weather conditions and what fuel map you are currently using (or is it the one in the link)?

Well, the above logs are with the stock rom and the TBE. I flashed the other map this morning but haven't had a chance to log...sigh of relief that she started. I'll take your advice and change the load offset back, thank you.
I'll be installing the LC-1 tomorrow afternoon and a walbro 255. I'm a little hesitant to install the Perrin EBCS, perhaps I should remove one pill and play with that for a while.
How can I post a rom?

Alright I wired up the LC-1 and the Perrin EBCS. I'm running stock timing, fuel, and boost as well as a modified JDM mivec map and 50% duty cycle on all three tables. I also have a fuel pump and Buschur catless TBE. I seem to be running a little lean, the car pulled a degree of timing here and there on the on the last pull. I plumbed the vent port of the EBCS back to the intake like the bleed system did, this may be reason why I'm running lean as the vented air is after the MAF. One last question, when putting the air box back in I bent some of the fins on the, is that a problem? Any comments are appreciated.

You need to raise the boost, you are running leaner because you aren't hitting the normal load cells. Also you will have some smoothing out to do with your boost control tables.
What does your boost gauge tell you?

^^I've been bumping up the WDC and now am hitting slightly higher than target load and my AFRs are in the mid to lower tens; otherwise, the car is still running a little lean for my taste.
mid to low tens is not lean. Mid to low 11's is not even that lean. A conservative tune will have your AFR's in low 11's (11.1 for example). Alot of other turbo cars tune to 12:1.
14.5-15.0 or so is normal for closed loop mode
11.1 - 11.5 is good for WOT open loop unless your road racing regularly then I might run the AFR's down into the 10's.
lower numbers are richer.

Sorry guys I posted the new logs and brieft explanation here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=252986&page=3
This thread is about target versus desired AFRs. I'm at work and cannot upload the logs here.
Mr. Evo IX...I just got them to hit mid-low 10s now that I'm hitting target loads, in fact, I've hit a bit higher spiking into the 245-250 range. Yeah, I'm shooting for AFRs in the low 11s for safety.
razorlab...I don't have a boost gauge right now. I ordered one but was sent the wrong color. I have a formula posted in this thread to get a ball park psi reading. Right now, I'm just trying to hit target loads while I get the WDC right.
Take a look at my post in the other thread and the logs...I hate to make you guys go to another thread, but like I said I'm at work.
Thanks.
