Well, could we use another switch that the computer does see? The AC maybe? i'm just tossing out ideas ...

 

The only one I found was the IC auto/manual switch. But the late US cars don't have them.

 

This would add great flexibility to our tuning options.

This is some great info. I cannot wait to see what we can do with our ecu's in the future.

 

If we could use the IC / auto manual swich to switch maps is there a way to wire the old switch to a IX ECU so that we could have map switching.

i've implemented basic map switching (Fuel + timing #2) in my AUDM ROM, but I have ICS so thats the enable/disable thing.

if this feature is much sort after I could port to USDM's with ICS (and just use clutch + TPS) for map choice...

I also had a request to include boost maps in the switching - although thats a lot more work
