its more than just disabling it.... if you want to make a different map for the car. you can unplug the fuse to the battery or disconnect the power on wire.

i dont advise doing so without knowing how to make a map. the afr's on a methanol tune will most likely put you in the mid to high 12's afr and with high timing thats a garenteed explosion.

pm me if you need some help making a safe map for 93.... what im messing around with i dont reccomend anyone to try unless they have a little experience or are willing to buy a new motor lol

cheers!

The easiest way to figure out if your making more power with this set-up vs. the meth set-up is to do two 3rd gear logs and run the logs in DLL. That is what I do when I am comparing the power of two tunes.

4 Wheel slide, very interesting data. Do you have the actually log to post? IF its Evoscan or dll or whatever? I am gonna do some experimenting on my own (I have run 28 on 100) but I am curious to see some of the other values that you didnt post.

I dont understand why you are doing this if you have methanol...

What is stopping you from turning the meth on and running more timing at high boost. I know it is possible to avoid detonation on 93 with low timing but arent you trying to make your car fast here? Get the afr on meth into the high 10s and crank the timing

On my Mirage I run stock timing map's with zero knock on 28psi and pump gas with a pair of Mcmaster Carr M15nozzles and a DIY meth kit. I have no experience tuning EVOs but I dont see any reason why you couldnt do the same thing with this car.

Also why do you keep comparing your car to this mikes1023 guy?

i interested in how this guy is running the same times i'm doing on 93 that i do on meth.

im selling the meth kit... this is gonna sound funny from all the experiementing i was doing this weekend. but i dont want to have any problems with the car.
it needs to last me a while, so until i graduate and have a job that pays real money. i'm going to play it safe.

cheers!

at 23 pounds its a little better for a lot of partial runs, aka daily driving
