This is something I am starting to run into, I was able to work around it for the time being with my blowthrough setup, but I think there is a way to disable it completely. You probably should post this on Aktivematrix so we can look at it closer.

MJ,

what about raising the boost cut timer to some ridiculously high number?

That is what Jestr does on his tunes. He puts a very high number on the timer to delay the cut for a long time.

Yeah mine has hit 320 or more even at lower boost levels, so I feel your pain.

Yes, the Boost cut delay timer is the other aspect, you can set that to some silly high number and the boost cut will never really kick in.

The big problem with that is there is the possibility (we're not sure yet) that if you overrun the boost cut value of 319 by some significant number, there is a safety feature that might override the timer setting. But you'll find that out pretty quickly..

Just put 99999999999999999999999 in there, it should round to 32767 as the maximum value.

The Jestr tune that I have (I will NEVER flash it into my ECU) has 1638375 in the timer.

I completely brain-farted on this one.. You are correct, with the present scaling it has, it goes to 1.6 million.. My earlier definitions had an int16 scaling which would have looked different.
