I think the only limitation of the stock ECU is your patience. Already the stock ECU has been shown to run a GT35r, which was previously thought to be impossible. I see you got your mid ft's down in the 90's. Let me know how your cruise stuff goes. That was the toughest part for me with the larger injectors.

Yup, thats the PITA part that i was refering too, I think im a pretty patient person, so we'll see how long it takes to make it all run right. Even though im sure i will always be changing my tune.

If you go by Hexadecimal .. the theoretical limit of the injector sizing is 29000+

Anyway .. it's a reducing value .. ie the higher the injector you set .. the lower the value in the ROM .. so the lowest valid number you can go to is 0x0001

For 1000cc injectors to idle within +/- 5% of fuel trims, I have mine set to 913 (0x0020) and latency of 0.960ms@14.06v

My stock ECU runs my 35R setup exceptionally well. Some similarly setup evos with AEMs and tunes by the "uber tuners" weren't exactly happy when we hit it

yah i have the same thing planned myself..BUT with the new turbo going in i might need 1200's to reach the goal of 450hp on a 50 trim alone on E85.

I think part of the confusion stems from the injector latency value only topping out at 7XX (or 8XX I forgot). People don't realize you can manually input higher figures thus claim it's limited. Personally I have tuned with 1000cc's w/ with ecu flash and had no issues.

Actually its not the latency value that tops out, you meant the scaling value I think. It just dawned on me in when I was disabling my rear O2 subroutine a few weeks ago (and again this morning on an different map) that it might be possible and sure enough it worked (well as far as inputing the number anyway). I havent had a chance to try it out on anyone yet though as I only have 750's.

p.s. its 770cc
