making the idle lopey on a ix

It should be possible to do this even without cams,

Does anyone know where to do this?

I was thinking the vvt map, but it starts at 10%

and I just want to do the idle just to play around with.

I was messsing with it for like an hour and couldn't figure it out..

Anyone know...........

Yes, this is a ricey ?

Just remove one of your spark plug wires, that will do it. Let us know how it goes.

whats with all these rude a** replies. Let this guy do what he wants, if you don't know how to make it idle lopy then why bother posting.

Try advancing the MIVEC timing at idle, that should make it lopy.

Try advancing the MIVEC timing at idle, that should make it lopy. Just find the load and RPM that you idle at, and through some more timing at it.

The cool thing about a lopy idle is that you have cams to change it. My idle with cams was around 700rpm and I HATED IT! I'm not trying to be an *** but to make your car sound like you have cams when in fact you don't is rather "poserish". You might want to mess around with the desired idle in EcuFlash that is how I was able to get mine up now it is rock solid at 1000rpm. Poeple will just ask oh you have cams? Nah.... I just changed the idle to sound like I Do....
